Zach Hensel leads the Single-Molecule Microbiology lab within the MOSTMICRO unit at ITQB NOVA in Oeiras, Portugal. The lab develops techniques for imaging single molecules in living bacterial cells and uses them to answer questions relevant to gene regulation and synthetic biology.
